FreeThink’s Chief Science Officer, Dr. Alisa Waterman joined a panel of speakers at the BioCT Legislative Day in Hartford, CT on March 5th. Leaders from the bioscience sector along with Connecticut legislators including members of the Bioscience Caucus shared their success stories and emphasized areas in which the business community and the state can work together to enhance the growth of the bioscience ecosystem in Connecticut. This includes meeting the needs of this expanding industry for more laboratory space and attracting a qualified workforce.
“It’s a chance to meet with our legislators and hear about what’s going on in our industry and what support we need,” said, BioCT CEO Dawn Hocevar. Dr. Waterman added, “It’s an exciting time for FreeThink as we continue to grow and add new global clients. We represent the diversity of bioscience companies in CT, and look forward to working with BioCT and our legislators in support of the proposed Bioscience Strategic Plan.”
