This spring, employees at FreeThink will be participating in the New Haven Science Fair Mentor Program. The annual New Haven Science Fair in Connecticut brings together over 8,000 students from local schools, with the goal of “promot[ing] skills in critical thinking, scientific process, and communication” in students from PreK through grade 12. The Mentor Program will give local scientists, like those at FreeThink, the opportunity to help students by running in-classroom experiments or assisting with individual projects in the lead-up to the event.
