Continuing with its tradition as a highly content-rich conference that is “all about the science,” this year’s virtual event was a resounding success! Survey results reflect that 99% of SOS attendees rated the quality of speakers as “excellent” (63%) or “good” (36%). Dozens of proposed topics have been submitted for the next SOS, which is tentatively scheduled as a live and in-person event in the US in the fall of 2022. All attendees of the virtual event were given immediate access to recorded presentations and “rapid-fire” poster presentations. The recordings will be made available to the general public in September of this year.
