KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in customer formulation development projects (primarily pharmaceutical) and development of new drug delivery technologies as a hands-on laboratory scientist/engineer
- Operate solid dosage form manufacturing unit operations such as tablet presses and fluid bed coating equipment
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with SOPs and good laboratory practices
- Document laboratory work in a clear, detailed, and organized manner
- Compile and analyze results using spreadsheet and statistical analysis programs
- Enhance technical expertise through continuing professional education and training
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, material/pharmaceutical science, chemistry, or related discipline
- Undergraduate research experience
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis for any employer without needing sponsorship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Pharmaceutical formulation experience
- Hands-on experience operating, and trouble-shooting instrumentation/equipment (mechanical, plumbing, electronics)
- Working knowledge of programming languages: Python, R, C++, VBA, Java
