FreeThink Technologies sponsored and participated in the 23rd Annual Meeting held by the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists – Northeast Regional Discussion Group (AAPS-NERDG).  The purpose of AAPS-NERDG is to foster education in and knowledge of the pharmaceutical sciences, provide a local forum at which all scientists interested in the advancement of the pharmaceutical sciences may meet in professional and personal fellowship, and share the scientific interests of researchers within the northeastern United States.  At the last Annual Meeting held in 2019 (the 2020 meeting was canceled due to the pandemic), Connie Tang and James McLellan gave poster presentations on their summer intern research.  This year the meeting was held virtually for the first time due to pandemic restrictions and registered 170 from industry and academia.  The virtual format created an opportunity for participation from outside of the northeastern United States region, including attendees from as far away as India.  Participants from FreeThink’s leadership team included Jennifer Chu (meeting chair), Ken Waterman (“Advanced Modeling from Highly Accelerated Stability Testing – ASAP – to Determine Product Shelf-life”), and Maria Krisch (“Activ-BlisterTM solutions provide superior protection of a model drug product over cold-form foil”) based on a collaboration with Aptar CSP Technologies and PCI Pharma Services.
