FreeThink is once again participating in the city of Hamden’s “Adopt a Family” program as part of the Hamden Kids Holiday Toy Drive. Two local families have provided wish lists from their children so FreeThinkers can shop with them in mind—the presents will then be wrapped and given to the parents in time for Christmas!
FreeThinker Kilee has been organizing this year’s initiative:
“The families are nominated on behalf of recognized domestic agencies in the Hamden area for their own special reasons. Some families may be struggling to meet/acquire monthly expenses or common household items while others might be facing an extraordinarily challenging time.
“Always have a willing hand to help someone—you might be the only one that does,” she says. “I’m so grateful to work for a company who shares that same belief and value.”
