We recently had a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the Branford Land Trust on a trail restoration project at the Short Beach Preserve in Branford, CT. It was a great success, with a large team of FreeThinkers contributing to the effort! Our team trimmed back the encroaching vegetation and restored access to three trailheads. We received high praise from the Branford Land Trust representative, Harry Merrick, who delighted with the work accomplished by the FreeThink team.
The Branford Land Trust is dedicated to preserving and protecting open spaces. The non-profit organization works to conserve ecologically significant areas (like Short Beach Preserve), promoting education, recreation, and the sustainable enjoyment of nature for generations to come.
