We are pleased to announce the participation of Patrick Kelleher, Ph.D., Associate Director of Physical Sciences at FreeThink Technologies, in the AOAC International Midwest Section conference held at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin from June 12-14.

Dr. Kelleher’s presentation on “Application of ASAPprime® for Predictive Accelerated Stability Modeling of Probiotics in Packaging” showcased the successful application of a three-week ASAP study in accurately predicting the long-term shelf life of probiotic strains. This study exemplifies the feasibility and efficiency of using ASAP for stability modeling, reinforcing its value in the probiotics industry. During the conference, Dr. Kelleher had the opportunity to meet with our ASAP study collaborator, Amber Marty, Probiotic Stability Team Lead from International Flavors and Fragrances Inc. (IFF).

AOAC International serves as a forum for government, industry, and academia to collaborate and define industry standards for analytical methods. By uniting these key stakeholders, AOAC International fosters the advancement of research and innovation, ultimately ensuring the safety and quality of products consumed worldwide.

We are proud to have Dr. Kelleher represent FreeThink at this conference, supporting our company’s dedication to scientific excellence. Stay tuned for more updates on our continued contributions to the scientific community and the field of predictive stability modeling.
